Student Accommodation at Golden Gate University
Students enrolled in the American Honors program at GGU are housed in apartments in the Parkmerced neighborhood. Parkmerced is a community on the west side of the city, adjacent to San Francisco State University. Each apartment has a full kitchen, so students can shop and cook for themselves. The housing is close to Lake Merced Park and the beach. Public transportation connects Parkmerced to GGU’s campus in downtown San Francisco.
From campus, it’s just a short walk to reach the shops and restaurants of the Embarcadero neighborhood, which is anchored on one end by the San Francisco Aquarium and on the other by Oracle Park, where the San Francisco Giants play major-league baseball.
