The Department of Elementary, Literacy, and Special Education is located in Mashburn Hall. The department is comprised of faculty members who teach, supervise, and advise undergraduate and graduate candidates pursuing degrees in education. The faculty devotes time building knowledge, enhancing skills, and fostering attitudes that prepare UCA candidates to demonstrate teaching excellence and reflective decision-making.
