About Faculty

Nursing is about more than just caring. Top-notch nursing is about treating the whole person, asking difficult questions and about driving healthcare knowledge forward.

As an Essex student, whether you choose mental health nursing or adult nursing, you’ll join a group of people who share the same drive to progress the field of nursing and you’ll be respected and supported as a professional from day one. We offer a variety of routes into nursing – we have traditional BSc programmes, as well as apprenticeship routes also.

We’re proud of our relationships with our local healthcare partners. Put simply, it means we’re confident you’re going to love nursing with us as our courses are underpinned with cutting edge insights into healthcare delivery today. And by the time you’re ready to graduate, you’ll possess essential values such as compassion and resilience.

When you choose to study with us, you’ll gain more than just a qualification. You’ll be part of our learning community, and we’ve got plenty to offer. Check out our facilities, and find out more about the School of Health and Social Care here.
