A Community of Difference-Makers
Want to help make the world a better place (and embark on a fulfilling career while you’re at it)? At UNE, you’ll find a tight-knit, uncommonly supportive community of like-minded souls.
A Uniquely Caring Culture
Being part of the UNE community means being involved. We call ourselves “right-sized,” meaning we have the resources of a large university but our campuses still maintain a small-college vibe.
Inspiring Locations
The University of New England has three distinct campuses. Our two Maine campuses house our internationally renowned undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs, while our campus in Tangier, Morocco, is home to an innovative semester-abroad program for UNE students.

Your hall is the place where you can kick your shoes off and truly be at home. At UNE, we understand that where you live and with whom you live are important parts of college life. Residential and commuter life are a vibrant part of our on-campus community — living, working, studying, and playing here, you won’t miss a beat.
Five residence halls — Assisi, Avila, Padua, Siena, and Featherman — are reserved for first-year students only. Upperclassmen live in suite-style arrangements in Champlain, Sokokis, East, and West Halls. Frederick Hall may house returning, transfer, or new students.
