Requirements

Academic Requirements

  • Good high school graduation grades or equivalent, plus one year of further study
  • BTEC level 3: Min.80 UCAS points
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma: 22 points
  • NCUK Foundation: 3xD and EAP D with no less than D in any band
  • UCAS tariff: A/AS levels: 52 UCAS points
special requirements:
1. Electrical and Electronic Engineering International Year One: Grade B or equivalent required in Maths in further year study
2.Electronic Engineering International Year One: Grade B or equivalent required in Maths in further year study

About Faculty

The International Year One is an intensive, two-semester programme of academic subjects, study skills and English language training that is designed for international students. The course is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree.

We have integrated a new careers element into the course that is designed to help students develop the employability skills they need to stand out in the competitive graduate job market.

Once you complete the programme and achieve the required grades, you can enter the second year of your chosen undergraduate degree at the University.
