Welcome to Career Services at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. We serve as a resource and connection point for students, alumni, employers, and faculty/staff to ensure the career success of UW-Whitewater students and graduates.

For students and alumni, we are dedicated to empowering you to envision your career goals, explore your options, and execute your career plan through one-on-one career advising appointments and events throughout the year, and the resources on this website.

For employers, we facilitate connections with our exceptionally talented students through job postings on Handshake, Career Fairs, and other on-campus recruiting activities.

The campus is surrounded by neighborhoods, including student and community housing. To the east of campus is the historic downtown. To the north is a campus nature preserve and prairie restoration. To the west is a shopping and commercial district.

Three types of scholarships exist for incoming freshmen:

1. Freshman Merit: $2,000 per year ($1,000 in fall, $1,000 in spring)
2. Freshman Distinction: $4,000 per year ($2,000 in fall, $2,000 in spring)
3. Freshman Excellence: $6,000 per year ($3,000 in fall, $3,000 in spring)

Eligibility:

• 2.5 or higher (Merit)
• 3.0 or higher (Distinction)
• 3.4 or higher (Excellence)
